Is my WK2 missing a wire connector?

I noticed that behind the front grille, and in front of the a/c condenser, there looks like there is a sensor mounted to the sub bumper and the wire connection is missing. This is on a 2012 Overland, V8 with the ACC/FCW.

To see this area, you need to look down through where the front hood latch is located (1st photo) and its on the black plastic housing for the sub bumper (2nd photo).

Photos attached.

If someone with a 2012 Overland (might be the same on other years and models) with ACC/FCW, if could check this area and let me know what yours shows, it would be appreciated. 1st photo shows where to look and 2nd photo shows the sensor/connector? and no wire attached.

Thanks

it's where the laser in the 40 watt range attaches too.

Thanks for the replys.

I never removed the lower cladding for off road yet, so yes, that could very well be where the disconnected plug from the ACC sensor would go while offroading. I'm glad Jeep thought of that.
