Your question needs no answer, the terms "dealer" and "BS" go hand in hand!
The problem these days is most dealers employ knuckleheads with no idea of the product they're selling.
A lot of us Aussies are experiencing the same problem down here with dealer BS, it's becoming a real stumbling block for those on the forum who have bought, committed to buy and those not yet committed to buy.
The WK2 is a real phenomena down here as it is with you yanks, it has really turned the market on its head BUT lousy Jeep dealership / back up service is working against the huge steps forward Jeep has made.
Jeep Australia appear to be asleep at the wheel
, we only hope they "snap to it" before the mud sticks!
BTW, yes, "break in oil" is a load of BS, as an excersise you should ask this knucklehead exactly where does Jeep specify to replace this break in oil and then send the answer to Jeep HQ.
