Is you air suspension reliable?

Just curious ... More interested in mechanical major stuff than small quirks here and there.

24k, 2014 ... Computer (ASCM) failed but suspension still operated normally, got replaced under warranty besides uneducated dealer who has no clue how to work on the system has been good so far.

Post mileage, year and issue (if any) ...

Re: Is you air suspension reliable?

2012 Overland V6 owned for 9,000 miles. Zero issues
2014 Summit V8 owned for 6,500 miles zero issues
2015 High Altitude I'm at 2,300 miles zero issues.

By no means have I had anyone of them for extended periods, but all good so far.
Interestingly enough I had a 2015 High Altitude that I had overnight as an extended test drive and the air suspension was all jacked up with 10 miles on the odo. It would constantly cycle up and down while parked, even when turned off. When driving it wouldn't do anything except stay where it was. Dealer later told me it was a defective switch (the one in the center console). So that was t really any of the major suspension components, but an electrical issue inside the car.

Re: Is you air suspension reliable?

14 Overland with 51k miles and 0 air suspension issues so far. I don't interact with it thst much other than when it auto adjusts or I raise and lower during a wash to reach the top and wash the wheel wells.

Re: Is you air suspension reliable?

Mine is constantly going up and down with all the quick trips running around town and it's never been a problem. It's always set to lower when put in park. There is horror stories on here but I think it's isolated issues and not a major problem.

Re: Is you air suspension reliable?

2014 with 48,000 miles and no problems with quadralift yet. I normally leave it in auto mode although I do have it lower once in a while if I'm giving my mom a ride somewhere.

Re: Is you air suspension reliable?

I have 2015 with 22,000 miles. I have taken it on long trips to west coast, east coast, to the Rio Grande (Big Bend) & I have taken it off road each trip. I never had any issues.
