Sounds like if you leave the drivers seatbelt buckled you could still run it thru the wash in neutral?

It's been a couple of weeks since this was posted. Has the 1-2 shifting issue returned? Or is it still apparently solved?

I have the harsh shift problem. I was hoping have the recall performed would correct it after reading the previous statement. It did absolutely nothing to correct my problem. I then had the dealer relearn the tranny one more time. The problem is still there. After having the new version of the valve body installed last October, it appears that the next suggestion from Chrysler is a new tranny. I'm against that as others have done that and still have the harsh shifting. In addition, I'm sure that a new tranny will never be installed just like at the factory. You know the dealer will screw something up.

At this point, I'm thoroughly disgusted with Chrysler. I've purchased many of their products in my lifetime including 5 Grand Cherokees. I am contemplating trading my Summit and never buying another one of their products.

I know you have tried most everything but I was wondering if you have ever tried to drive extreme for a time. I am thinking for a day or 2 just drive it like a bat out hell, floor it on take off & brake hard. Get the program to learn something different... Its a long shot but might be fun!

For what it's worth, the technician who dismantled my blown EcoDiesel stated he thought the cause of its demise was too much "rapid acceleration".

That seems, well, stupid to me. But my wife takes 4 different freeways to work which is 40 on ramp merges a week. Since they didn't dare imply that anything we did caused it, I decided not to probe the meaning of the tech's remarks.

Any engine that cant take plenty of rapid acceleration given the way the roads are today should not be on the market.

So, this arrived today. Not important in my case, but I guess FCA has accelerated the roll out to include the EcoDiesel.

Thanks mate for posting, I was getting this minor bump as I was coming to a stand still hadn't quite put my finger on it but was putting it down to brakes.
The description in the TSB "nails it to a T"

I'm going to monitor it for the next week as it's due for a 30klm service.

I'd say in my case it is a noticible improvement. It isn't as smooth as some vehicles I've driven but much, much better than before they did the flashes. Then again I don't exactly rack up too many miles on a daily basis either so it could be that my JGC is still learning after the flash. Keeping my fingers crossed. The service advisor did tell me that Jeeps are known to have the lurching between 1-2 and that matches up with what I've read others reporting.

Saw that, but it is for 2016 models. Mine is 2015.
