Had this happen when I had exhaust leaks and O2 sensor problems. It was erratic though. Mainly when I had codes pending
(but not yet matured).

Only thing consistent was that it only happened on days that end in a "y".

I have the same setup and I noticed the same thing. Its not areodynamics. I had a 98 Tahoe that had better "coast" than this JGC. It was as areodynamic as a brick s***house. I just think that the Jeep trans is very "geary". I find myself giving it gas while going downhill to maintain speed. In my old Tahoe I had to ride the brake to maintain speed down the same hills. I guess I won't wear out my brakes as fast though.
