For sure, the #1 shortcoming of the Jeep brand is the laggard dealer experience. For decades Chrysler dealers have brought up the rear, and the bankruptcy didn't help as many caring family dealerships were axed in favor of balloons-and-clowns volume outlets.
I'm used to the likes of M-B service, and have a tough time adjusting to the variable bare-bones service at Jeep dealerships even if it's more affordable. Thankfully there are two good outlets in metro Philly -- Bergey's and Videon, both far away -- but the vast majority are the pits.
