I wouldn't sign the RO to order a $6,000 frame from Japan so a dealer could disassemble and reassemble my new vehicle in the service bay - imagine that?

Toyota is an arrogant company to deal with... they wouldn't budge. It took the President from Penske Toyota to get them to understand the implications. Toyota USA finally buckled and bought the vehicle back - a two year ordeal.

Wow that sucks

[QUOTE=JRNYC;665184]Added rear hatch glass opening randomly today to the list.

I had an old Chevy Beretta (POS) that the horn would go off at random times and the trunk would also pop open at random times.

That sucks.

I was going 60 ish maybe a tad faster, and when the tires caught the water, the feeling of losing control started for a split second but the vehicle driftedor grabbed towards the curb ever so slightly for that instant but then never lost a beat as the other 2 tires came in strong and held the Jeep rock solid.

A Vehicle could have wiped out at that speed and unfortunately i have in the past so I know the feeling.

So the the JEEP came in strong and held its ground and I did not crash or lose control for more than that initial split second where I first entered the undrained water.

Thank You Jeep for that.
I had the same experience recently. We had monsoon like rain and ponding on the hywy. I was very impressed by the GC and the Michys handling, hitting a 5 inch pond at 50 mph.
