Unhappy Just received my 2015 Summit. The drivers instrumentation is so dim.

Just received my 2015 Summit. The drivers instrumentation is so dim can barely read it on a bright day . Forget opening the sun roof. Is there any way to brighten it. Tried the roller knob but it only works while the headlights are on. Any ideas?

There are settings available on the touch screen.

Be sure to download the latest owners manual from Jeep.com, under the 'owners' link.

Try true uconnect settings, display, day-night-auto, uncheck auto adjust day as you comfortable.

Hey chrisinmb, do you mean the brightness of the gauges? If so, I'm in agreement with you on my 2014 JGC. I don't think you can adjust the brightness of the tachometer and other needled gauges. Hopefully I'm wrong though, lol.

I'll give it a shot when I get home from work. Thanks! I'm hoping I was wrong....I was really really disappointed that the needled gauges were so dim. lol!

EDIT: in the stated above, it mentions "screen" brightness. Are the needled gauges apart of that statement as well?

If you roll the wheel all the way up, there should be a small detent feeling, at which point your instrument cluster display will be as bright as it will get. Caution this is '14 behavior and may not apply to a 15.

In My Non-Humble Opinion, it is a tad non-bright particularly if you wear polarized glasses.

Re: Just received my 2015 Summit. The drivers instrumentation is so dim.

I tried it out and the needles and associated gauge get brighter as well, but I prefer to just live with it as it and not drive around with it at full brightness during the day, and especially at night.

Considering it's still 2014, and unless you have a time machine with a cargo hold, you don't have a 2015 anything!

'15s are starting to trickle out over here. The official sales launch is this coming Monday.
