Mine is missing the liftgate flipper glass button on the key FOB is anybody else have the wrong key fob it has been driving me nuts that its not on the key like my the jeeps and looked up in mutual and it says there should be a button on the key
This was deleted in later build dates as some complained that the flipper glass button was either accidently or unknowlingly being triggered, which disengages the motorized hatch function until re-closing the flipper glass.
You may find a few folks willing to swap out old vs new FOBIK's with you.
You can buy replacement key fobs on ebay, with whatever options you want, for around $100. According to the directions you need your two original key fobs to program.
I'd have to imagine that Jeep only deleted the button on the key fob for later build dates and not the feature itself as the button on the rear liftgate is still present.
You actually need to go to the dealer to get the key fob programmed. The WK2 is different than other older jeeps. I've been through this already. Trust me.
