Key Fob Issues

I bought my WK2 a couple of weeks ago. When I got home I noticed that one of the keys doesn't work and never did. I think the salesman noticed this and tried to cover it up telling me something needed to be set in the setup and didn't outright tell me the key didn't work. I took the key apart and there is a battery and it does have good contact with its battery terminals. The other key is totally fine so I know its not the key fob receiver in the Jeep. Has this happened to anyone else? It sounds like the key hasn't been programmed or is totally faulty, which you think they would have caught when the Jeep was brought to the dealer.

Is there a way to do that myself? I read that older models you could do it. The dealer isn't exactly near my house.

Re: Key Fob Issues

Only the dealer can program the key fob.
