normally, a light touch is all that is needed. Now, a full grip on the handle, and a few seconds go by before an unlock.

Passenger door seems to work as normal.

Thoughts?
I've had my WK2 a week and it started this nonsense today. I need a kung fu grip on it now.

Re: keyless entry losing sensitivity .....?

For mine - I think it has a lot to with where the key is. I find if the key is in the pocket of thin shorts, it works great. If i have the key in the pocket of thick pants, its much harder.

Have you tried cleaning the gunk off the inside of the door handle?

Re: keyless entry losing sensitivity .....?

Techosavant pointed this tip out earlier, but make sure you aren't also touching the lock button with your thumb at the same time as you are grabbing the handle to unlock and enter the vehicle. Otherwise, the two counter opposing functions may cancel each other out.

Opposite is also true, when locking the WK2, it is most effective to just push the lock button with a single digit vs. grabbing the handle at the same time.
