Keyless-n-Go Issue

My Keyless-n-Go is not working on the driver door and works fine on the passenger.

I had my vehicle in a body shop after an accident and they repaired the driver's side but I do not see where they removed the driver's door or the panel in the paperwork.

My question is: Would the keyless-n-go work for the passenger door if some module wasn't hooked back up in the driver door during the repair (doors are linked)? Or is this an issue with the driver door handle?

I am just trying to narrow down the issue to the body shop or bring it up next time I am at the dealer. Thank you!

Re: Keyless-n-Go Issue

I read somewhere here where an antenna connection was not hooked up and that solved the problem. If I'm not mistaken, there are 3 sensors, front doors and one in the tailgate.

Edit: Check this thread... the answer is in post #8 but I'm not sure if it applies to yours since they worked on the driver side door. http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=43256

Re: Keyless-n-Go Issue

If they worked on the drivers door, the issue is likely in the door handle. There is a capacitive sensor in the outside handle. The antenna mentioned is actually in the rear doors.
