Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

Well i called David in S.C. and he said exactly as stated in the earlier post. He said the confusing part is that theres no module for the ambient lighting so you have to do the reconfigure back to factory settings and that made them work for them. I got an appt. For next friday at my dealership to try again so ill just wait and see.

Ok, so I have the lights. First trip to the dealer they said there were no lights. Second trip the dealer said they are there and they work and they always worked but are too dim to see. Pretty damn dim. No rheostat, just a very dim presence. Dim.

Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

So now what? Dealers gonna try mine again friday so im curious. OH! that reminds me, when i spoke to dave in SC from earlier posts he did say he had one jeep that the drivers side light didnt work but the passenger side did. He said that it turned out that on that side the lights werent in properly and the needed to be repositioned in the holes. Doubt it your prob though since neither side is working but if its just dim have them check that out.

I noticed that at first with mine. I could look up there and see a very faint light. I pulled the led out and put a direct 12v source to it and they lit up. After three failed trips to the dealer, the last of which they told me they fixed it when they hadn't done anything, I just rewired the led drivers to the switch bank lighting.

Do the rear doors have these or just the front doors?

Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

My build sheet says:

LBRS Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps

To me that says that there should be LED lamps in both the front and rear doors. I'll look closely tomorrow night. The cup holder is illuminated (CWPS Illuminated Cupholders).

Those are the reading lamps up at the ceiling. The LEDs in the doors are not aimable.

Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

...the LED lights are definitely NOT an option. They are standard on ALL WK2's.

Talking Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

Brought mine in last friday. I was there for two hours and no luck. They did everything that i described to them and nothing worked. Even pulled the door panel off again and confirmed they were there. They took two pages of notes and contacted their Chrysler field engineer to work on it, and i havent heard back yet.
