Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

Seems some X have then lite and some don't. It should be all or none if there wasn't something missed during assembly.

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

Unless it was something that was added on later? I picked mine up 9/29 and I don't have them...

I picked mine up about the same time you did. Why even put the bulbs there if it's not a option. I can see the LED's.

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

I will need to check my build date but I picked mine up on 11/03 and they aren't working. I did call Chrysler and they checked my VIN and said that it should be working, I can see the LED's also. It just seems like some were never hooked up for some reason?I will be bringing mine in on tuesday or wednesday of this coming week to check it out.

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

Ok, so the dealer called me back and said that the lights are actually there and function but are so dim that the light is virtually non-existant. They're working on ordering a new set of lights.

Can everyone having problems give it a second check and see if your can see any light from the LED's whith the lights rurned on and check with a mirror etc. Just curious if the problem is a bad batch of LED's or maybe a voltage issue. Not real sure yet

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

Now that you mention that I felt like that was the case but wasn't sure if the bulb just looked that way cause i was shining a flashlight on it or if it was just super dim. I think mine is the same way. Thank you for sharing I will keep that in mind when I bring it in on tuesday.

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

Blackwolf-Any update from the dealer? I am going to take mine in on tuesday or wednesday and any help you can give me so they don't have to guess would be great. My dealership has a "special" service department, sadly they are my only choice within 40 miles.

Re: LED lights in the door panels not turning on

I have an overland build 9/03 and mine are lit and working well, bright as well. I had an issue with the interior lights (dome, tailgate, floor) not turning on when you A) unlocked B) opened Door C) used the slider. They originally worked and then one day stopped. They had to replace the whole dash cluster due to a short. Was all in all a 2-3 week process as the dash cluster took almost 2 weeks to get an program. Luckily I was still able to get the vehicle back however to drive in the mean time as it was merely interior lights issue and nothing else was effected. Hopefully the LED problem for some of you doesn't turn out to be a larger issue! As I was told A LOT goes through the dash cluster/EVIC.
