Liftgate aslope (hope able to explain)

Hello

today I was wondering about my lift gate.
I had a closer look and saw that is aslope. Right side it very tight and a little bit of the rear lamp is already broken out.

U can see it on the pics.

I guess there is no "quick & dirty" how to to adjust it right at home? I have to wait till the dealer is coming out of the holidays next year

Re: Liftgate aslope (hope able to explain)

In some of the early builds it was discover that it was the right side bumper cover, and not the tailgate, that was misaligned.

Re: Liftgate aslope (hope able to explain)

Do you think the dealer has this information?

Is it just a realignment?
I will need a new rear lamp as well. And this lamp isn't in the bumper?

Thanks for this hint!

Re: Liftgate aslope (hope able to explain)

Many of the 2014's still have the misaligned liftgate. Yesterday while looking at the Vipers I saw a 2014 GC SRT that just rolled off the truck and I noticed that the liftgate and fuel filler door were misaligned. Looks like Jeep hasn't made any adjustments for this problem since production began at the beginning of the year.
