Liftgate handle

I just noticed on my Limited that the top portion of the trim for the liftgate handle is protruding out. It doesn't look bent but definitely not flush with the body. Its not loose and i even tried pushing it in. Anyone else have this?

Cool, thanks for checking. Looks like it's 'normal'. Would you happen to have a chance to post a couple of pictures of it?

Re: Liftgate handle

Maybe the design has changed, but it is flush on my 2011.

If it looks just like yours, you could just look at your pictures.

LOL. I don't know what's behind the trim, I just hope it's not an issue with water finding its way in the Jeep. Probably not.

Re: Liftgate handle

Mine is exactly the same as well. The dealership is ordering and replacing the entire handle. I'm concerned about water seepage also.
