Linking Key Fob to memory seats

Anyone else having issues getting this setup? I got the memory seats set up easy enough, but I can't get the key fob to link to the memory seats. "remote linked to memory" is on in the EVIC display. Following the instructions in the quick start guide but not having any luck.?????

Re: Linking Key Fob to memory seats

You have to hit the following buttons within 5 sec.

Set
1 (or 2)
Lock on the fob

All whiile sitting in the car - I did it with the engine running but you will at least have to have it in acc. mode.

I had lots of trouble until I read the directions on the DVD.

Guess mine is broke because it will not do this. Going to dealer tomorrow to get license plates picked up. Maybe they can make it work.

Re: Linking Key Fob to memory seats

What if remote linked to memory does NOT show up on EVIC display?
