I'm looking at a '12 Overland for my wife to drive. It has the 5.7 in it with 55,000 miles on the vehicle.

Is there anything I should lookout for when test driving this or looking it over?

I just bought a 2012 GC Overland Summit. I got mine from an auction and did not have the luxury of viewing it before.. Some things that were wrong with mine was moderate bubbling of the leather on my dash.. google it. Also my rear back up camera is not working. Other than that I love it so far!! It's awesome

Buy an extended service contract through the manufacturer. Zeigler is a dealership that sells service contracts online. You can get a quote from them, then try to get your local dealer to match it. With the air ride and other electronics on these things, the service contract gives you some peace of mind and could save money in the long run.

I wound up passing on the '12 Overland. The wife and I didn't like the tan/black interior on the '12 since the tan was more of a yellow tan. If it was like the '14+ tan/black and more of a white tan, we'd have had it.

We are going Saturday to look at a '14 Limited with the 3.6 & 8 speed transmission. We drove one last week and I was quite surprised on the pickup and power that it had. The WK we had had the old 3.7 and it was not impressive.
