Re: Looking for recomendations for Extended Warranties

Anyone know if the max care warranty rental benefit applies for recall repairs? I have a recall that I need to get addressed and would like to be able to rent a vehicle if it takes time to do.

It should a recall is something that is their fault and problem like warranty work so they should cover it. I have been using the rental for warranty work and it works out good. Enterprise rental car is on site at my dealer and they give you a car quick and easy no charge. a nice side benefit of max care that I didn't even realize when I bought it.

Yes torifile it should cover that if the dealer has to keep the vehicle.

The Maxcare isn't transferable (except in a couple of States), but the others are.

Chrysler also offers money-back guarantee option up to the 7-year warranty in addition to the regular extended warranties. They are a little more expensive. If you don't have any repairs against it by the end of the term, you get your money back.

Re: Looking for recomendations for Extended Warranties

OH NO, I knew I should have bought it last week. I just checked today at Zeigler and Unlimited MaxCare is now at $2335. So $150 increase.

*edit*

I just noticed I didn't select the 4x4 option. When I did that, the price reduced to $2185. Any one else find it odd the 4x4 is cheaper to "insure"?

LOL yeah, I just bought it. I was just waiting and being a lazy and cheapass I guess. Bought the vehicle on 10/2. I guess it's been 1 month now.

The price jump scared me, so I just bought it.

Question about the deductible though. I don't see a detail report of how this warranty works.

So each time you go in, you have to pay them $100? Now, does this start AFTER the 3yr/36K miles warranty?

First 3 years are free.

I haven't read through all this to see if it's been mentioned. But the Route 66 warranty (sold via credit unions) appears very impressive.

If Route 66 isn't the Chrysler warranty exactly then I'm taking another road to extend the 3/36

Lol thx. But I have to disagree with the wallet statement. It is digitally lighter I guess, means faster right.

We basically give Chysler an interest free 3yr "loan", until we cash it in.

Buying mats, window tint, getting Xpel wrap, Hid setup, now lifetime warranty and holidays coming up. Wallet is taking a beating.
