Yes, when the vehicle is under 12 mos old when you purchase the contract. It goes up a little beyond that.

Zeigler should have been $2185.00, that's what I got a week ago or so.

When you're on the first page you have to make sure you select the correct existing warranty.

If you select 3/36 Month Factory Warranty Only then the price comes out slightly higher. If you select 5/100 Powertrain plus 3/36 then you should see $2185.00. So you paid $100 over not $50.00 under.

I made the same mistake and someone at Zeigler called me and said I made the mistake.

I got a quote from chryslerwarranties.com several months ago and after a few weeks they started sending me discount codes every couple of weeks but never matched/beat Zeigler until I replied to their last discount code email asking them to beat Zeigler @ $2185.

They emailed me a discount code that brought their price to $2180 for $100 ded. Lifetime. I went with that.

I tried both and neither sent discount codes after a week. I was concerned price was gonna go up. I figured it wouldn't be all that much more discount any way and just wanted to get it done. Zeigler had the best reviews I could find and they were nice enough to call me to correct my error.

For me, for someone to earn a "Price Match" then need to BEAT it by more than $5.00 for trying to screw me for more $$$ in the first place. They should have given me the competitive price in the first place. They were willing to try and screw me for more than the other guy first, then want me to switch because NOW they are willing to "match" ($5.00 below is basically a "Match"). When the other guy gave me a great price to start with, he deserves the business.

I kinda agree with you there, mswlogo...I always appreciate the best price up front and often reward that with my business.

I'm in sales...and I try to follow that philosophy with my own customers, working to give them the best value the first time. It pays off well in the long run because those customers are happy and they refer others.

I purchased unlimited max care yesterday from chryslerwarrantys.com. Total after a coupon was $2206. Since I am in NC the unlimited is transferable. I think that will pay big dividends when it comes time to sell.

But I've been thinking about this truck. I am leasing it because I like to have options. But I really like it. I mean, I love it. It's comfortable, looks great and does everything I ask it to. 8000+ miles in and it's been solid.
