Map light

Im stumped. Got my precision led kit installed with the exception if these two bulbs. They are the closest bulbs to the windshield. Keep only has a Chrysler part number and no bulb size. Precision led is not sure what the bulb is either. I dont know how to remove it. Please help.

It's not a bulb. The map light is a SMD LED that is soldered on the end of a ribbon cable attached to a small circuit board. You have to de-solder the LED and replace it with a new SMD LED. It requires a bit of precision and a low power 15W soldering iron or you'll melt the metal in the ribbon cable.

There are some images here: Putco LED conversion list

I ordered 4 of these (bought extra LEDs just in case I screwed one up). They are a cool white color (10500K) which is different than the color you are using for the replacement bulbs (based on your photo).

Cool White 5050 SMD LED | Component LEDs | Super Bright LEDs

It looks like the bulbs you got are close to pure white (6000K).

Pure White 5050 SMD LED | Surface Mount (SMD) | Component LEDs | Super Bright LEDs

Re: Map light

Until I get a soldering iron and some time (and confidence)...I decided to take a 1/8" hex key and my trim removal tool and I:

1. Popped the console off with the tool

2. Disconnected the power supply

3. Took all hex screws out of the console

4. Found the white tab connected to the map lights (see picture) close to where the power supply was

5. Disconnected the tab and began living the led interior life

The way I figure it...I was happy with my led interior in my old 04 WJ Overland...and I only had 2 map lights. Why do I need 2 good led lights and 2 crappy led lights on my 13 WK2 Trailhawk.
