Re: MaxCare Warranty??

Guys who are arguing about Mopar Max Care pricing: I think you are forgetting that this service contract has a price increase quarterly. So if you bought the service contract even just last year it has had a couple of quarterly increases already. Any mileage or time over standard adds significantly to the price as well. I paid $2185 for my lifetime service contract with $100 deductible from Bob Cline at Zeigler but that was nearly 2 years ago. I doubt highly I could get anywhere near that today. You also need to remember that these dealers play fast and loose with figures. They may lower one price somewhere but will increase another somewhere else you are not paying attention too. Sometimes is is better to pay a little more and do business with someone you know and trust.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

Ziegler is the BEST !!! Great savings and Maxicare is the only way to go on a Jeep. Jeep's are like Land Rovers you need lots of insurance. When they act up they will break your Bank account. My brother had an oil seal leek, never knew since the oil would pool in a part of the chassis, would have cost $8,000 to pull engine and do all the breakdown and reinstall new parts. (per dealer) Cost him nothing and got a new car to drive. Nothing like "insurance protection" Without the "warranty" we wouldn't buy the car. Jeep maxi-care is 2/3 cheaper than LandRover and its lifetime on Jeep.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

Hi guys ,
First , want to thank everybody on this site . Because of all the info I got here , I bought my 1st Jeep (Overland V8 ) 3 years ago and am loving it !
Now I am looking for Max care lifetime for my V8 Overland , bought it in 2012 and have 35K miles. I got a quote for 2,665 $ from Zeigler . What do you guys think about the price ? I am still waiting for quotes from another dealers .
Also , do you guys get road hazard tire protection ? I never had it before.

Glad you like your jeep, Zeigler is a fair price you may fiind a little lower but not by much probably. One thing to keep in mind is buying zeiglers on line wont be taxed but buy from a local dealer will so keepthat in mind. I paid $2100 for mine 2 years ago but prices have gone up and your jeep is not new so they hit you a little there. If zeigler is saying that price im sure its in line but see what your others come in with. Just remember thetax thing.

Concerning the mopar road hazzard i made the mistake of not buying that initially and i have bent 2 rims in the last year on 2 seperate times at $700 per 20 inch rim(×2 =$1400). After the 2nd bent i bought the mopar policy from zeigler for $310 for 7 years. I hsve never bent a rim in 30 years of driving and bent 2 in one year on yhis jeep, in my opinion these 20 inch rims are fragile and that $310 was an easy decision.

Im someone that has never bought an extended warranty or road hazzard in my life but times change and you always have to reevaluate. The key question to ask is are you goinng to keep the jeep a long time, if answer is yes it makes sense especially with all the stuff to break these days. A single quadra lift failure can be over 2k so it can easily pay for itself IF you keep it a long time.

Depends upon the state. Colorado, for instance, does not tax the service contract.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

Bought from Zeigler site today. Lifetime Max Care $2415 ( found code save100 ), and 7yr wheel/tire for $310. No tax and total of $2725. It's gonna be tough to beat that all in price elsewhere.

Are any of these plans offered with a zero deductible?

You can get maxcare with no deductable but the price goes up a good bit. Go on zeigler and you can check pricing on all online. Rim policy is not on website you need to call unless thats changed recently

I'm sure it will pay for itself in the long run so I'm glad to have that piece of mind.

Keep in mind that his location says Oahu. Things are a little more expensive there than on the mainland.
