Re: MaxCare Warranty??

So after calling Mopar today to find some information out they told me todays my last day to cancel for a full refund. Just happened to be the 60th day...

It was a terrible experience going to the dealership to try and cancel! NO ONE wanted to help me and everyone just passed the buck. Some finance guy told me he'd get it taken care of - I agreed but just didnt feel right. Called Mopar again after I left the dealership, the lady told me what they had to do and it was super easy to take care of. Went back into the dealership and luckily happened to run into the lady who handles the MaxCare stuff. COMPLETE BITCH! But after waiting in the lobby for like 20 minutes, she finally came back with a screen print showing the cancelation.

WOW! I jus can't believe how places preach its all about the customers, but when you need something; no one gives two shits..

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

They were not happy to help you because you were taking back a very high profit margin thing from them... But...they could at least be polite about it. LOL

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

I actually didn't even return the MaxCare at the dealership I bought it from.. They were just assholes.. probably why I didn't buy my car from them in the first place a few months ago...

The guys at Ziegler would prefer not to get involved with contracts sold by another dealer. They will if you talk to them and thats your last resort, but they will also tell you some good stuff to take to the dealer you bought it from.

As long as you have something in effect, up to 48 months to extend, upgrade according to the plan and the really nice guy at Zeigler.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

Just pulled the trigger on a Mopar Maximum Care Lifetime ($100 deductible) warranty through Ziegler. Called Bob Cline and spoke with him although I was able to complete everything online. He indicated that the "Discount" box on the website is going to be taken down soon. He offered me $50 off but ended up getting a $75 code. He was very professional and easy to talk to. I'm not a big fan of warranties but knowing I am a pig for miles (driving all over the place) I need to ensure this beauty will last a long time!

Actually $2,315 is not a bad price for the Mopar Lifetime MaxCare Wrap Service Contract with $100 deductible. I paid $2185 for it 6 months ago from Zeigler's and that was before 2 Chrysler price increases that I know about. It is possible you could get another $50 off by calling Bob Cline and being nice to him. But I can tell you right now that being demanding and saying there is no way that you will pay that price will not cut it. Zeigler's sells thousands of these Mopar Service Contracts and will not go out of business if you don't buy one from them, nor will Chrysler. Both will gladly sell you labor and parts at what ever the current price is when you need them.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

I agree with macfan...that's not a bad price at all considering there was a price increase awhile back from Mopar. I paid $2185 in January '13 when I was just under 12K miles. It would have been $100 more if I had crossed over that 12K mark.

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

I was quoted $2,465 for lifetime max care on a '14 4x4 Summit. I currently have ~18k miles and it is 16 months old. This seems higher than the other posts or were those before the 12 months were past? I completely forgot about it until I was in month 13!

Re: MaxCare Warranty??

I paid $2100 in April of 2013. I heard there has been a price increase.
