MaxCare Warranty Engine Inspection Required?
Is there a requirement in the MaxCare stating that the Jeep must be taken in before it hits 5 years ± 60 days of purchase for an inspection in order for the warranty to be valid? I have read all the paperwork and see no such thing (aside from keeping receipts for maintenance), but I remember seeing people mention that on this forum, but can't locate the specific posts. I have owned the vehicle for 2.5 years now and am at 19k miles...it has never been to the dealer as I do my own oil changes. I have had a MaxCare plan since day 1, but haven't needed any service yet...just don't want to skip a necessary inspection to keep the lifetime warranty valid.
