Mds ?

How do I know if my MDS is working ... when I turn on or off the ECO Button Nothing happens to engine or Idle speed ..It drives the same .. so I am wondering if there is a way to tell if the MDS is working ... 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited with Hemi?

Your help is appreciated

Re: Mds ?

MDS only kicks in when the engine is under minimum strain. It shuts off just about as soon as you press down on the accelerator. You can't turn it on and off. Sometimes in makes an annoying groaning sound.

Really only works on highways at tiny or no throttle.

I wonder if its on while say you're stopped at a stop light...I hear a really bassy tone when I'm stopped at a red light. Not sure if thats the exhaust note I'm hearing or maybe its MDS being on?
