Memory seat linked to key fob

I'm having a difficult time associating my key fob with the memory seat in my 2012 JGC. The manual says to press the "S" button to set, followed by one of the number buttons and then the lock button on the key fob. It has to be done within 10 seconds or something like that. I've done so several times. The dash tells me that a new memory position has been set but it does not automatically move to the position when I unlock the car with my key fob. Anyone else experienced similar?

Thanks

Does it move the seat to that position when you turn on ACC or Run? If so, it's working as it's supposed to.

Thanks for the explanation. I was assuming it would move the seat when unlocking the door. This works too. Just a little more difficult to get in and start it when you're 6'6" and your wife is 5'3".

Thanks
Move it to ACC first, then start when the seat is close enough. If it didn't work that way, the easy entry/exit feature wouldn't work.
