Micro cartridge fuses in the 2014 Grand Cherokees?

Anyone here know where to find a replacement "micro" jtype 20 amp cartridge fuse for a 2014 Overland? I had a trailer running light short that took out the fuse and all the dealers I have talked to so far say these new smaller cartridge fuses are back-ordered. They do not know when they will be available?

Thanks,
Robert

I went to pep boys and bought a divided plastic box that has multiple of every micro and normal fuse, I tossed it in the spare tire compartment as part of my emergency 'kit'

This is very similar to what I got: http://www.pepboys.com/product/detai...91/?quantity=1

Re: Micros cartridge fuses in the 2014 Grand Cherokees?

I have one of those fuse kits, they do not include any of the new "micro" cartridge fuses. The new ones are about half of the size of the smallest cartridge fuses in the 2013s or older...

I need to double check mine, I swore it had micro in it, but maybe I was being dense.

2013 used "mini" fuses.
2014 uses "micro" fuses.

No doubt, Manny, Moe and Jack accept returns.

Question Re: Micros cartridge fuses in the 2014 Grand Cherokees?

I have looked online and at every auto supply store in the area and nobody has these micro fuses... The dealers all tell me they are back-ordered. If anyone here finds a source, please let us all know where we can find them?

Thanks!

I haven't found anyone that has these either, I always carry a set of spare fuses with me, I would never though a Jeep would have fuses so cutting edge they aren't readily available, unless they are more standard in Europe...

It looks like http://www.waytekwire.com/products/1...FZPm7AodTgkATA are what the GC uses, but I haven't used this company before. I have to swing by the dealership on Wednesday, and can see if they have any 20s in stock if you still need one.

Re: Micros cartridge fuses in the 2014 Grand Cherokees?

Thanks to this thread, I found that spare fuses from trade-in JGC moved to glove box of 2014 JGC Overland are indeed too large. Ordered and received correct spare fuses via Ebay seller. Color coded and labeled as with fuses in 2014 JGC (under hood fuse box also has puller and found some not pushed fully in).
See Ebay listing for micro2 fuses:
2012 Ford F series and others New style micro2 fuses hard to find. Set of 10 @ $13.95 with free shipping (I ordered May 25th, received May 31st).
2012 Ford F Series and Others New Style MICRO2 Fuses Hard to Find Set of 10 | eBay

Requested 2 of each, above is what I received - same as in 2014 JGC and apparently also available from Ford parts suppliers.

Thought I'd share that I picked some up from AutoZone. Of all the fuses there, they only had one pack of micros that had one of each in it.
