For 3.6, I talked to a rep at service center and he said they have two 3.6s in for misfire problem and for both cars, one cylinder has abnormally lower pressure. They ordered new heads for the problem.

I had a similar issue. The dealership said that I have a cracked cylinder head that they're going to replace. The part isn't available so they'll need to keep the car for at least another 5 days. Yikes!

My GC is a 2011 that was built in late 2010.

I'm very concerned about having a year old car that had this issue. From what I understand, they need to remove and replace all of the guts. I'm not comfortable having a dealership do this work to fix a factory flaw. Am I crazy?

The check engine light was coming on sporadically. When I went for an oil change (not at the dealer) the technician said the diagnostic tool referenced a cylinder mis-fire issue and to bring it to the dealer asap.

Prior to that I had noticed a degradation in power especially when going up hills.

Surprised to find the same thing (misfiring #2 cylinder) on our very early (8/2011) 2012 Overland 6, although it didn't show up until after nearly 30,000 miles. Thing is, the head has been on backorder for four weeks, now, and they have no idea when it will arrive at the dealer. But the (experienced) service adviser guesstimates it could be yet another month. This is difficult to comprehend. After all, they are producing hundreds of Chrysler vehicles with that same engine every day, so the parts are there. Yet, once they have a customer's money they won't give up a part they can use in production. Making it worse, I now need this vehicle for a 4,000 mile trip. Being flipped off like this is just a huge turnoff, maybe decisive, when it comes to considering our next new vehicle purchases. Having to wait up to two months for a part in current production is unacceptable. Anybody else had this kind of parts problem?
