Moisture inside cabin...NOT a sunroof leak

Hey fellas. 2013 Overland. I am getting water inside somehow. LOTS of moisture inside, windows fogged up and humid air when you first open the door. It'll be sitting for a few days and that's what I'll find. Windows look they have dew on them...but it's on the inside. Sun roof is tight as can be. Driven in many down pours, no 'obvious' leaks.

I just happened to lift up the rear cover where the spare is...and WHAAAAT!? The underside of the cover looked like a pot of boiling water had been under it. Lots of condensation. But no splatter like if it were entering the cavity while driving. Thankfully it was at the dealer body shop and the mgr saw this too. Says we need to get the whole thing leak checked and go from there. No time lately.

Anyone else seen/heard of this?

I've had a 2005 Liberty, 2007 Commander Overland, 2011 Overland Summit GK....never seen anything like this.

Current rides are the 2013 GK Overland and 2014 SRT....live in Atlanta.

Only issue is the moisture issue.

Re: Moisture inside cabin...NOT a sunroof leak

I've read two possible issues. Gasket problem on lift gate.

Or A/C Drain. Check compartment under both front seats for water. If they have water it's probably the A/C drain. If not, it's probably the lift gate gasket.

Search the forum for it.

Damn bro. That is awful. Sorry to hear. Hope they can get it squared away and it's just the gasket.
