No question Chrysler dealers bring up the rear, as they long have. Worse, FIAT seems unconcerned, thus far focusing solely on improving product and manufacturing conditions.
I would love to have a Jeep from a dealer service network that rivals that of, say, Lexus. And this enlightened customer orientation would eventually help Chrysler greatly, IMO. But given the choice between a Lexus with Lexus dealers and a WK2 with Jeep dealers, I'll take the latter and suffer the longer drive to one of the two dealers in our area that is, if not Lexus grade, at least technically competent with a can-do attitude.
But each of us has to decide, and who can blame you for being disgusted with forking out $40k or so and getting $20k service, or having to drive an hour to get a simple repair done properly and in a timely manner?
