Mopar cargo mat--limited/overland/summit owners

I have the mopar cargo mat in our 2013 Laredo (also have the mopar slush mats). Love it. As many on here have noted, it really fits and looks great.

I ordered the same mat for our 2015 Limited and received it yesterday.

As you know, in the cargo area of the Limited models there are the metal raised bars on the carpet that I assume are there to aid in sliding cargo. I had thought about this earlier, but still ordered the mat. The mat does not lay as flat as it does in the Laredo, which does not have the bars. Does not "stick" to the carpet the same way. Still looks fine, and certainly won't move out of place.

Anyone have cargo mats (mopar or other) in the limited and run into this? Just wanted to check here before keeping it for good. Never know what I will learn from posters here--someone might suggest a brand that accounts for the bars. Or, everyone might just say "that is how it is".

Thanks, as always.

I have the same MOPAR cargo mat in my MY15 Overland that I had in my MY11 Limited. Both have the rails and I have absolutely no issue with them interfering with the mat. There is no need to remove them, IMO. The mat does not move when either empty or with 15 bags of wet mulch on it. It can't move it is fitted to the size of the deck. When we go on vacation I usually remove the mat as the rails make it easier to load and unload my 1 suitcase and my wife's 7 suitcases!

I've got a Weathertech cargo liner in mine and don't notice any awkwardness in how it lays, it looks pretty even to me. The rails don't bother me because it's covered up. Since there is nothing on the bottom of the liner to really make it grab the carpet, it slides around ever so slightly. A quick push towards the rear seats and it's back where it should be. It is not troublesome by any means. Very happy with it. I considered the Mopar liner but liked that there was a little bit of a lip on the side of the Weathertech in the even that my fishing buddy decides to spill his coffee (again) while we're rigging up the rods.
