Angry My GC sucks!!!

Hello to everyone!!!
First i apologize for my terrible english...

I'm a '14 GC (3.0 crd.. ) owner, 3 months old with 3k Km (less than 2k miles...) on the clock..

And here you have my problem list and the dealer "solution"...
1) water in the headlights..
Not under warranty: it's normal (i'm also a Nissan GT-R, audi A1, Nissan silvia S14 owner.. my previous suv was an infiniti FX50S.. NEVER FOUND WATER IN HEADLIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)...

2) noise / rattle from the right door panel.
The dealer says that there is no noise (problem fixed by my mechanic).

3) Uconnect loses the Bluetooth connection.
The dealer says that is my cell phone problem (my old Samsung s3,my new Samsung s4,my wife's old iphone 4s and the new 5s... probably i'm very unlucky with cell phones!!!)

4) sometimes when i shift the quadra lift from "entry exit" to "normal ride height" the "raising" lettering still blinks...
But yesterday evening the BEST PERFORMANCE:
i was driving in highway at 110 / 120 Km/h (approx 70 / 75 mph) when suddenly the rear suspensions lost the pressure and the rear of the car lowered!!!
The rear started "bouncing" all around, luckily i was driving on a straight and not on a turn...
Naturally i reduced the speed and slowly drove to home, but after 5/6 minutes a warning message appeared on the dashboard: "HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION PROBLEM"... wow, thank you for the promptness!!!!!!!!

I took few pics with the cell phone,obviously... the car was completly lowered on the rear (more than the entry / exit mode...) and at normal ride height in front...

But this morning the best surprise: after the night (car locked and Keys in my pocket...) the car is PERFECTLY LEVELLED!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning new visit to the dealer..
I'll keep you updated..

But maybe an exorcist would be the solution...

Ciao ciao!!!
Marco.

Wow Marco that was some scary high speed malfunction! Glad you had it under control. I was thinking about QL on my next JGC, but your experience solved that issue. Welcome to the forum.

Re: My GC sucks!!!

The one thing I know they have a fix for is the raising light staying on. It's a software flash.

Good luck.

Re: My GC sucks!!!

I hope the dealerships in Italy treat you better than the ones in my area.

Fight the good fight Marco, and don't give up until every issue is addressed!

1. Take a look at this TSB, this will tell you if its "normal" or an issue: http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0808613.pdf

2. Fixed as you mentioned

3. Check to see what uConnect version you have. There have been "improvements" in some of the recent updates. It helps to completely delete pairing from phone and uconnect before doing update and re-pair. Here is TSB for latest version, it can be downloaded via the uConnect site or premium section here: http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0804913g.pdf

4. Here is the TSB for the "raising" getting stuck: http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0808213.pdf

With regards to what sounds like an actual failure I'd go right to the dealer and if necessary, open a case with Jeep.

Re: My GC sucks!!!

Welcome to owning a "much improved" American vehicle. I have 7K miles on my '14 Limited and have had more issues with a/c not starting with remote once you open door, uconnect, gps is a POS, etc.. That I did in the four years I owned my prior Lexus IS250, 2 years on a leased RX350, or even a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.

For the price paid, I should've just bumped up to a BMW X5; it's not like the Jeep was cheap at $40K+ USD.

Look above, there are fixes/updates for the issues you list, including a HVAC tsb to address the ac and remote start issue which was beat to death and resolved months ago.
