Question My WK2 Does This...

http://youtu.be/xTzsnFaPnQY

Water is cold; like ac drainage. I am keeping plug out for now but really would like to fix it. Can't be normal right? Any suggestions?

This is not my vehicle BTW. I just found this on youtube. I have a sunroof but it drips water even when it is dry.

KW - water sloshing, drain plug, driver's side

With the driver's side floorpan plug OUT, are you noticing any dripping underneath near the center of the vehicle? If so, great! Your HVAC drain appears to be open. Completely normal. The HVAC drain is located in the transmission tunnel.

Holy crap that is a lot of water coming out .... I sure hope my '12 JGC doesn't have that issue ... when you are driving, do you hear water (as in 5+ gallons) sloshing around the underside of the vehicle?

Re: My WK2 Does This...

Mine sure did hence the investigation to get the water out. Since that video, i have left the plug out since. I dont offroad. Havent noticed anything out of the ordinary even looking inside the floorpan via inspection camera.

Re: My WK2 Does This...

I did hear the sloshing which lead me to that video. It was driving me crazy! Will check the center tomorrow to see if cool water is draining there as well. It is normal to have water drain into the pan like that?
