Don't feel bad. I had mine for about three months before I found out about that button here.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that unless the dealer shows that to people it takes a lot of them a while to find it. That said now that I know where it is I will use it all the time. I already used it last night and again this morning.

Free download here. It is easier to use than a printed version because of the search feature.

Download it!
They didn't come with a full manual, but they did come with a toll free number to call to get one free set of paper documents. The number should be in the users guide.

The manual should also be on the supplied DVD.

Of course a downloaded version should be the most up to date.

Lol, actually I'm thinking more along the lines of if I'm thinking unlock, it should do as I command and unlock. Like a Jedi mind trick... Akakakakakakakaka

Our mercedes has it on rear doors too. Its a premium feature that usually is found on luxury car brands.

Yea i believe the new lexus's have it as well. Saw one yesterday where the owner touched the back door handle to unlock and got in to the front driver side.

My wife's $30000 Hyundai has keyless entry pretty standard these days.

Re: MY15 Overland. Keyless entry is sh1t

Well I have to admit something.

The keyless entry & go feature is the FIRST thing I DISABLED on both my 2012 and 2015 Overland.

I don't want my vehicle unlocking unless I press that damn button on the key fob! I never liked all of the potential security issues caused by that system (just search this forum for some of the horror stories).

I guess I'm "old fashioned" in that regard.

Hell, that is one reason I looked for a Laredo X when I bought my '11. I love the Keyless Enter & Go.

After my wife drove it some she liked that feature so much she made be buy her a '14 Limited (she also wanted the auto lift tailgate).

Now I am jealous of her auto lift tailgate and her 8.4AN so now I want a new one. But I like my shifter better so I am holding out great hopes for the '16s. But if they go with those 3.6 engines that shut off at stop lights then they can forget it. I'll hang on to my '11 with the MaxCare Lifetime service contract.
