Yep. I have a GS 350 and all of the doors have the sensor to unlock and lock on the handle. Kind of a pain because I'm use to carrying my little kiddo and just opening her door to put her in, but in the jeep I have to remember to grab the front door handle first.

Unlocking the vehicle automatically when you approach it , is an option in the Uconnect menu. Yes? Returning back to the vehicle like you did tells the Jeep to unlock the doors automatically & that is what it did! No? It seems like the Jeep is doing exactly what you programmed it to do! Unclick the box and it won't happen any more . . .

Two things ftom me:

1. As somebody mentioned already Keyless doesn't work if I have my fob and phone in the same pocket. Some kind of RF interference?

2. Once you go keyless you ain't going back. Especially useful when you are holding your kid in one hand and something else like a bag in another. Super neat that you don't have to search for the fob and press any buttons.

Not worried about security. If somebody wants to get in, it will get in. Low tech solutions like brick + window always work well and are preferred choice in most cases.

What? So I have this feature too? I had no idea this is an option.

Then how come Jeep provides a fob instead of a brick?

Because your insurance won't replace the window if you break it.
