Need Recommendation for service department in the N. Dallas area

I recently took delivery of a 2015 Summit. I am looking for recommendations for a great performing and reputable service department in the North Dallas suburb region (Richardson, Plano, Frisco, etc.). Thanks!

I can't recommend a good place, but I can say I've had bad service at both the Plano and Lewisville Huffines.

Re: Need Recommendation for service department in the N. Dallas area

I now have almost 5K miles on my Jeep and have a few items for a dealer to address. Still looking for recommendations for reputable Jeep service departments in the North Dallas, Plano, Richardson, Mckinney, Frisco area.

Any ideas?

Good luck man. I'm up in Mckinney and the Dodge/Jeep dealership up here is not that great. They're rude and always overbooked.

I've got a 2011 WK2 Overland that still has a major warranty on it. I take it to the Firestone at 75/380. The guys there have always been super nice and are always willing to go the extra mile. My WK2 is there now for a new left, outer tie rod and rack and pinion replacement.

Mckinney might be a little out of your way, though. When I lived in Plano, I used to take all of my cars to the Kwik Car at 2200 W. Parker Rd. 4-5 years ago they were really great, but have no idea about them now. If you do end up going there, come hungry and go to Mama's Pizza next door for the buffet. So amazing!

Ok, after thinking about it, the Jeep dealership in Mckinney isn't that bad. They have done multiple recall fixes, a major tuneup and several oil changes on my WK2. I think the issue is that they are really busy almost all of the time. This leads to the employees not being very sociable and only doing the bare minimum. They also seem to take their sweet time with what their doing, but I'm not sure if it's because they're being lazy or really thorough.

One thing they do not do is complimentary walk through/inspections (they charge $138 just to look at your vehicle). Where as other shops will do that for free to see if there's anything else that needs attention. I took my Jeep in to Firestonw to fix the tie rod and during their inspection, they noticed the "weepy" rack and pinion. They called my warranty company and got all of the work approved. So, I'm only out $100 deductible.

I moved to Dallas. Any recommendations?
Any suggestions anywhere in Dallas to get warranty work done?

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but I didn't want to create a new one.

I've had Grapevine do the last few warranty fixes and been happy with the work and customer service.

Re: Need Recommendation for service department in the N. Dallas area

I go to Dallas Dodge Chrysler Jeep on LBJ. Specifically I only deal with Bill, one of the Service Managers.

I will say this, sometimes they get overloaded so timing is key. However, Bill has been the absolute best. He makes sure everything is done correctly the first time. Ive dealt with him when my 2014 stalled on the highway and recently when I bent my rim ( on a new 2015 overland none the less). He was extremely helpful and he is the reason I continue to use their service department.
