I have lost both my low and high beam lights. They started to fade out and then completely disappeared. I have had a "Jeep Assist"call out have a look at it but I think I would have been better to call out the pizza delivery man. I am some 000's of Kms from home and reluctant to let an unqualified/untrained auto electrician look at it until I get home. But I have been trying to find a fuse or relay for the lights to check if it is something simple. Does anybody know where the lights fuse is ?
Thanks Schweibs. I have checked this list of fuses and relays before and what amazes me is that there does not appear to be ANYTHING for the headlights. Although I am bemused by the fuses in M22 and M23 for low/high LH and RH horns? Separate fuses for LH and RH "horns" ?? Just seems strange to me. I wonder if that reference could or should have been LH and RH "lights"??
Mine has been in the shop for 47 days with headlight issues on my summit. Your not going to find a fuse. These headlights run off a power modular box that not just controls the headlights but a number of other electrical functions. Let me know if you still having the issue and if you are taking it into jeep to look at. If so you might want your service guys call mine and they might be able to point them in the right direction quicker.

Thanks for the offer Bulldog. We are waiting until we get home now and will take the JGC to our dealer. I was very reluctant to let an auto electrician have a go at it if he wasn't familiar with the Jeep's setup. I'll keep your offer on file and be in touch within 3 weeks , in need. Thanks again.
Hey Bulldog, I have had some info from a Canadian Dealer who strongly suggested that I have my technicians checked all earthing wires for the lights. He states that the earthing points are only light aluminium and subject to both corrosion and coming loose. Hope to get the car to Melbourne dealer next week, I'll keep in touch. Regards
Had my lights fixed by my dealer today. They merely placed new headlight bulbs in (at a quoted cost of Aus $900 but under warranty). What they could now explain was why the originals only lasted 70 hours !!
Has anybody found a generic replacement HID bulb cheaper than the Jeep originals ??
I have use 4 sets of DDM Tuning HID kits on my cars and have had no issues. They are good and priced even better. They are an easy plug and play kit. Here is the link.
