Re: Noise from rear wheel while breaking
I have the exact same problem, but mine is coming from the front left caliper. I took mine into the dealer to have them check it out and they said it was from the warped rotors and the abnormal wear on the pads. I knew the front rotors are warped because you could the steering wheel shudder under braking conditions, and I was fairly sure this was the problem. I was thinking it would be a warranty issue, but the warranty for the breaks is only 12 months or 12k miles. They wanted $168 dollars to resurface rotors and replace pads. I declined the repairs and ordered new power stop cross drilled and slotted rotors and EBC super street pads for $160 off eBay. It sounds to me that you have a rotor warped on the rear and the rear one are harder to detect since most of your stopping power is done by the front brakes and feedback can be felt through the steering wheel and/ or pulsating of the brake pedal.
