NYC Jeep owners with NAV

Any of you guys experience issues with entering address in queens?

I have been having issue when trying to enter a house number, anytime it's a 2 digits, dash and another 2 digits, it should light up OK, so I can advance to the next step...but it is greyed out with no other lit up options.

i enter the state, NY, the City, Astoria, the street...then 2 digits, the dash, the last 2 digits and then I'm stuck.

anyone else?

I've searched and read of some other issues that are similar and possible updates, but nothing specific to whether there is a resolution.

Re: NYC Jeep owners with NAV

For the city, try putting in New York. I'm not sure it will work, but Astoria (even though it shows on maps) is not a city. In fact it is not even a town. It's just a neighborhood name carried over from years back.

I know it's a stretch, but it couldn't hurt to try.

I'll give it a shot, but the fact that the city does come up, along with the street thereafter, I can't see that being the issue. The same format works on every other gps I've used, in my audi, any app on my iphone...the only place this doesn't work, is my Jeep. Love this jeep, but these little quirky issues drive me nuts.

Re: NYC Jeep owners with NAV

I was just fooling around in Google maps. If you just put a Queens address in and say NY it puts the city as Queens. But I could not get it to take any 3 digit addresses in the Astoria area.

Are you sure it is actually in Astoria?

Re: NYC Jeep owners with NAV

there are 2 addresses that I've tried and as far as I know and the people who live there have confirmed, they are in astoria.

25-22 Hoyt Ave S
and

34-27 crescent st.

I'll try using just queens, maybe I shouldn't specify astoria?

Re: NYC Jeep owners with NAV

That first address is definitely in Astoria.

I wonder if it has something to do with whether or not you put spaces in front of and after the dash.
