Oh trust me... If I could find Amsoil, I would use it in a heart beat... However since I have moved from the west coast to the midwest I have not been able to find it anywhere...

I guess I could order some off the net

Re: Oil filter question

My reminder light came on at 3500. I was ready to switch to synthetic like I have done with all my other cars, but NTB was running a special for $17 for regular oil which included tire rotation, normally $27 for 7 quarts. Plus I got a $ 10 off coupon on my next one for filling out an online customer review. I may keep using regular oil at this price, especially if I'm going to be changing the oil every 3500-4000 miles, instead of every 7500 with synthetic.

Re: Oil filter question

im the OP...the reason i started this thread was about doing the first oil change at about 1500-2000 miles(to rid the "break in" oil). Now i am starting to think i should just wait since I am only about 2 months away from 6 months.. what do ya think? still do it now at about 2100 miles(been busy, haven't got around to it yet lol, but i do have all the stuff) or just wait another couple of months and maybe 1000-2000 more miles until my jeep tells me to at 6 months?
