Oil leak

It looks like I'm leaking a little oil around one of the fuel injectors. Any thoughts on where it's coming from?

Re: Oil leak

Drivers side. I think they were sloppy when they change the oil. There is no way oil could be leaking up there.

Thanks

Yeah I was just going to say, they could have done a messy job when changing your oil last and spilt some. if it was on the other side of the motor I was going to say check the PCV hoses.

Hopefully just sloppy tech oil.
If you sniff it, does it smell like oil, or possibly gas?
If it has never been there before, not likely it would be the crud left from evaporating fuel from a defective injector.

Hose it off with a bit of cleaning foam then rinse and see if it comes back.

If it doesn't bounce a can of oil off the tech's hairdo.

Re: Oil leak

did you look at the engine from bellow? I recently had a sloppy work as well and my filter was leaking at the gasket, take it in asap so you are not driving around with low oil!, check for my started threads and you will see some pictures
