One Beautiful Trip !
My wife and I drove out west on April 22, 2014 from Northern Virginia. Our 2013 JGC Limited 3.6 was fantastic. We started out with 31,000 miles and came home with 39,600. From the heat of Arizona and the desert, 106 degrees, to the cold of Montana near the northern entrance of Yellowstone, 21 degrees at night and several feet of snow the SUV was flawless. Before we left I did put on new Michelin LTX MS2 tires and so glad I did. High wind, sleet, 106 degrees out in the desert at 80 to 85 mph, drop off's in the mountains I mean DROP OFFS at elevations of 8000 ft. and higher with (and I would not believe this if someone told me) NO GUARD RAILS !!! LOL... I was very happy to have those tires on the car. They now have 12,000 miles on them and honestly look like no tread has been used. We did have one problem for we had a stone hit the wind shield and cracked it. The only minor delay getting it fixed was no one had the RAIN SENSITIVE windshield in stock but we did get it replaced within a day and a half in South Dakota at a great place family owned and operated for 28 years. Even gave us a loaner that we did some sight seeing in. We were gone for 4 weeks, and yes would do it again in a heart beat. You need to have a good car and the Jeep certainly did shine. Just wanted to share the info with all you jeep grand Cherokee owners.
