Opening a Ticket with Chrysler

Hi everyone - I am new to the forum for about the last 10 days and like it a lot. I have had my new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited v6 for about the last 2 weeks and like it a lot, but as with others on this forum I am experiencing some annoying problems which I have been reading about in different threads. I frequently see that people say tell your dealer but also open up a ticket with Chrysler. Can someone explain to me how, where and why to also open up a ticket with Chrysler ?? Just want to do the right thing. Appreciate the help, thank you.

Urg, I know people say this but I have a bit of an issue with it. If you have a good dealer, let them fix the problem. If you are having issues getting things fixed you can go on Chrysler's website and e-mail them. If you haven't even had the issues looked at yet at a dealer the ticket with Chrysler won't work anyway.

In other words... Don't panic, have the problems looked at by a dealer first.
