Overland key sensor and battery question

Had car almost 5 months now and this only happens when it has sat for awhile ....if the fob is in my pocket, the start button does nothing. My seat just moves like its gonna start, no message saying fob not detected.... Soon as I pull the key outta my pocket it will start right up. When I only stop for short periods, it will start key in or out of pocket.
Does this fob have a message to indicate low battery when inside the car?
Also wondering if anyone else has had this
Thanks

Da Jeeper,

I wasn’t able to find a TSB related to your key fob concern. Do you experience the same thing if you use your spare key fob? Have you brought your vehicle to your local certified FCA dealership to have this concern addressed? If you would like assistance setting up an appointment send me a PM with your VIN and contact information.

Thank you,
Emily – Social Care specialist.
