P06DD 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Oil Pump Replaced

Hi!

I've gotten my engine oil pump replaced, about 4 weeks ago. I drove my car today and my engine light went on...again. I used my uncle's code reader and once again it's a P06DD issue. Recently, I realized that the car begins to shake (very slightly) when i travel at 55mph or faster.

At a normal speed (30 mph or so) i can see the the PSI is around 25. I don't know if that's normal. Also, this wouldn't be induced by a loose/faulty gas cap or dirty air filter, correct? Would they replace the engine oil sensor when replacing a pump?

The car is still under warranty but I just want people's input.

This is my first car and obviously i'm extremely disappointed. I'm only 19 and work hard to pay off my car. I'm sorry if the questions were "stupid" I just want to get a better idea of what's going on. If anyone can help me, i would appreciate it.

Thank You!

No such thing as a stupid question, but a little more info might help, such as engine. Good luck.

4 of the most common possible causes for that code to set.

1. Dual stage oil pump.
2. Engine mechanical failure.
3. Incorrect engine oil filter.
4. Engine oil pressure sensor.

Hi!

I have gotten my Engine Oil Pump, Oil Pressure Sensor and my the wiring all replaced. Unfortunately, the light came on as i drove from the dealership.

:( i honestly hate this. I've taken it to the dealership 3 times, for the same code.

I will probably get my oil changed and have them replace the filter. Hopefully this will solve my issue. My car still vibrates when i drive above 40 mph :/

Any update? How the problem finally solved? Thanks!

Had a vibration starting right around 40 mph with my 2015 WK2. Turned out it was the rear drive shaft. I had an independent shop put the car up on the rack to find the problem, and had the shop document it. I then took the documentation to a dealer and requested a fix under warranty.
