I put splash guards on mine as well as larger sections of paint protectant film. Seems to have helped, but the paint protectant film and the trim pieces are still taking a beating.

Hello,
I saw you have stone chip damage on you Jeep too. So what did the dealer say about the damage. I dont even drive on gravel roads and mine look the same only 7month old and 8200km on it. I just drive on our wonderful winter roads in Alberta, Canada.

But the damage is already there. Even the 3M or protective film that is on there is damage. Feel so sad, it's not a cheap ride and already this problems.

Re: Paint Rock Chip Damage is Extreme

This makes me nervous. I just bought a 14 summit. It's white and came from Philadelphia where they don't get any snow. I live in syracuse ny as well and we get our fair share of snow and cold up here. Being the salt city...they salt the shitt out of the roads up here. We drive on salt covered roads for 4 straight months. I ski and snowmobile...so whenever it snows we will be out "playing"! I'm concerned...

My lower panels are nearly perfect right now. Definitely going to add some mud flaps and will probably look into some additional 3m guards for the rockers and lower doors.

Any suggestions for syracuse installers of 3m protective films?

It's a white truck...that helps...but still don't want my truck looking like some of these pictures!!! Wow.
