Picked up My GCO on Tuesday first thing my wife noted was the RHR door misaligned. Others on the lot and in show room were OK. The top of the door at the rear is proud of the body opening . Sticks out like the proverbial. Dealer says they will check it at 1000k service. That will be interesting.
Have the problem on my '12 Overland Summit on the passenger side... Also had a loose piece of trim in front of the rear wheel on the passenger side where the clip had popped out or not fully inserted. Was able to fix that with a sharp whack using my hand to lock the clip.
I have a 2013 GC and I have the same problem on the passenger side. I push it in and it pops back out a short time later. LOL. Should I expect the rest of the car to come apart one day? American quality...... I really like my GC.
I never noticed the problem until I read this thread. But, my 2012 JGC also has the bumper lip popout along the inside bottom edge of the passenger side headlight where it meets the grill. I snap it into place only to have it come loose after driving the vehicle. Clearly, there is one clip that doesn't hold under the stress of normal street driving. Leaving it parked in the garage overnight, the clilp holds the bumer edge in place. All the other fastners are doing their job. Therefore, it's not immediately noticeable until one's attention is drawn to it. Darn, now that I see it, I can't help but focus on it!
My 2011 Laredo X does not have this problem -- nor does it have misaligned doors or trim. I have also had none of the TSBs applied, as the Jeep hasn't needed them. I've had it for 16 months and 20000 miles and have had no problems at all. So, no, they don't all do that (whatever bad "that" folks are talking about at the time).
Mine is fine too, no bumper issue, no missaligned anything either.... it's a 2011 manufactured on 2010.... Probably the first ones made... A nice red Pentastar Laredo with QuadraTrac....
