Angry Please help

2011 OVERLAND AIR SUSPENSION. I HAVE HAD MY JEEP IN THE DEALERS GARAGE SINCE BEFORE CHRISTAMS! FIRST IT WAS AN AIR LEAK, SO THEY "FIXED" THAT, THEN IT WAS THE MODULE, SO THEY "FIXED" THAT, THEN IT WAS THE COMPRESSOR, SO THEY "FIXED" THAT, THEN IT WAS AIR LINES, SO THEY "FIXED" THAT! GAVE IT BACK TO ME AGAIN SAID IT WAS FIXED, CHARGED MY WARRANTY FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE AND WHEN I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM IT IS STUCK IN OFF ROAD HEIGHT AND IM STILL GETTING THE "IMMEDIATE AIR SUSPENSION SERVICE REQUIRED" SIGNAL, THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE IN EVERYONES BEST INTEREST IF I TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I HAVE HAD THIS JEEP FOR JUST OVER A YEAR, I WENT THROUGH THE PROPER CHAIN OF COMAND AT THE DEALERSHIP, I AM NOW TALKING TO CORPORATE, IT JUST SEEMS NO ONE CARES AND IM GOING TO BE OUT OF AN AWEFUL AMOUT OF MONEY AND THEY ARE GOING TO LOSE A FORMER LOYAL JEEP CUSTOMER!

I see how that is total pain in the ass but how are you going to be out of money if they are charging the warranty for all this?

If I were you I would take it somewhere else. take it to a different Jeep dealer, the number of times they have had it in and out of there that dealer likely does not know what they are doing. it is obviously not working right if you are getting those messages and if you are still under warranty then make them fix it but take it to a different dealer. Good Luck

I still owe $18,000 on this overland! From everything Ive been reading about the 2011 model overland, this is an ongoing problem! Im going to have to try to sell my beloved jeep and get something else. My husband is fed up and is telling me that I wont be buying another Jeep. I've been in tears over this, it's just not right!

Re: Please help

First off....DON'T SHOUT, we hear ya !!!

Secondly, I had an accident in our JGC. Some idiot in a Ford Econoline van cut me off in and his rear bumper ripped off the RH Front of the Jeep, to the tune of just over 12K in repairs. Just over 7k were for parts!

The repair shop had to replace the pump, module and RH front air line as all were badly damaged. Whole system had to be recharged with nitrogen and set-up. Had it back for 6 days now and it works as flawlessly as before the accident.

Question : Did you purchase the Jeep extended warranty? If so, there shouldn't be an issue.

And definitely take it to another dealer.......my system was pretty much FUBAR'd and after repair, it was set up exactly right the first time.

Ok you should not get rid of your jeep over this especially since you have the Chrysler extended service contract on it. This is exactly the type of thing the extended service contract is for. The only money you should be responsible for is the $100 deductible(assuming that is the deductible you picked). This is a quadra lift failure, if you have to bring it back multiple times because they replace the wrong parts that's not your fault it should be one deductible charge. The maximum care life time service contract also includes a rental car for five days each time you bring it in. My dealer schedules and pays for those I don't pay a dime I use them all the time.

This is my advice the first dealer is an idiot, go to the new dealer and let them fix it. Doesn't matter if they replace every single one of those parts again you are not paying for it let them put all new parts in. Let this new dealer try to fix it correctly, give them two tries to do it, if they cant call Chrysler corporate and explain the situation. But seriously go to the new dealer, there are a lot of rotten jeep dealers out there you just have to try and find a decent one. This is inconvenient but you have the extended service contract the maximum care lifetime includes a car rental if that is the one you have I don't know about the other ones but ask. You can make this work this is a covered item they have to fix your jeep because you have that service contract force them to do it and don't budge.

Re: Please help

My warranty is a third party warranty the jeep dealership sold me. Already been in contact with cooperate, they are not being very helpful!

hmm its a third party that can make it a little more difficult but as long as it is a covered part on the warranty you should be able to get them to cover it but you may have to jump through some hoops. Id say get the third party warranty out and read it and understand what you are covered for and entitled to, don't depend on them to tell you. Then take it to the new dealer like you are planning.

I know this doesn't help you now and in this situation but in the future try to buy the manufacturer service contracts not the third party. the third party may save you a few dollars up front but they can be difficult to work with when you really need them in situations like this. Good luck

Re: Please help

I wouldn't be impressed with someone who wants to start by replacing everything. Some diagnostic work is what's needed.
