Yeah, it sounds like any air compressor after the tank is full, but quieter. Can't hear it when the radio is on.

Re: Poll - Problems with Quadra-Lift?

Can I change my vote? Mine took a crap today. Rear is jacked all the way up and only the front goes up and down. I'm at 2100 miles.

Make note not to let your dog step on the buttons, it makes them overheat and then you need to have them reset.....darn dog:-)

Re: Poll - Problems with Quadra-Lift?

At my dealership today for the fourth time trying to fix my QL. They seem to think it is the rear "sensors." Parts will take two weeks or longer.

While talking with my service advisor, the other advisor took a call from another Overland owner. His Jeep is stuck at ORII. At least my problem is intermittent.

As I've stated in another thread, I believe Chrysler is really trying hard on this problem, based on discussions with my service manager. Also, the dealership has been great...just frustating that it will take at least five visits to get mine fixed.

Just read the car & driver review and they mentioned this too. Here is the quote from the article

Pumped up on its air springs to its full 10.6 inches of clearance, an Overland rarely drags its belly, though sharp impacts do occasionally crash the suspension against the bump stops with a jarring thud.

BUMP.

So far, it looks like a 10% problem rate. Hopefully, Jeep/Chrysler can improve on that with time.

2800 miles here on my Summit... No real issues to report. I had a "system cooling" or something like that come on one time, but i had cycled the system a few times. The manual says this is normal. I have also noticed that the times between height adjustments vary. I assume this has to do with temperature and vehicle weight???

Re: Poll - Problems with Quadra-Lift?

Hello.
Does anyone have any experience operating air suspension winter at temperatures ranging from minus 20 to minus 35 degrees celsius? Does the problem appear when operating in such conditions?

Re: Poll - Problems with Quadra-Lift?

3500 miles, 2500 of which were towing a heavy trailer and the only issue was a "cool down" message when I was setting up the WDH and tried to use ORII to see if I could cheat and not use the trailer jack to make the torsion bar install easier. Note to self, don't try and jack up 700 lbs of tongue weight (more like an extra 1000 lbs at the axle) with the air bags

Over the course of the 2500 mile trip the QL got a workout as the WDH transfers load to both axles and you could feel the QL making adjustments as loads and angles changed.

My only complaint, allow me to select the default mode and stop going back to Auto every time the vehicle restarts!

+1 on your issue. I have no kids and i am the only one that drives it. Yesterday I thought I might have hit the button by accident and thought nothing of it. This morning I started it and noticed the suspension was raising. I looked at the button and OR1 was selected.... Hmmm. I had placed a cup of coffee in the forward-most holder. I don't see how I could have hit the button. Going for an oil change next week, I will mention it to them. In the mean time I will be looking for it again.
