With all the talk of Quadra-Lift problems on this and other forums, what kind of experience have you had with your QL system?

Had 4 trips to the dealer to address my issues, they replaced the ENTIRE QL suspension...... Same issues r back one month later.

I'm going to lemon law it on Monday. Not sure if I will stick with jeep at this point. Depends how they treat the process.

Overland Summit- QL problems since new.
-was slow at changing, then got to won't change heights at all, just flashes that it is changing, overheats... never succeeds.

-just took to dealer to work on, has been in shop for 5 days, tech is getting emails from chrysler on what to do, step by step, now it is worse than before according to tech and service writer, no end in site after one week.
-dealer seems to be their best, but tech's just not trained and don't have ability to diagnose without hand holding from chrysler

-I'm told since so new it has high priority, but also that since so new they won't authorize just replacing parts...

-if not get fixed within 15 days and a few visits I will have a lemon as well

-love the vehicle - first jeep for me - but if not fixed and fixed right next week this will be a joke

I just got my 2011 Overland back after it spent a week at the dealer for QL problems. It would not go into OR1 or OR2 so they were forced to replace the compressor. It's been working the past three days and I hope it continues to work as designed.

Picked up my Overland on Friday,
Friday night and all day Saturday would not raise any higher than Normal Ride Height. Would change from Park Mode to NRH no problems but any higher the lights would just flash and got "Cooling Down please wait message" Was booked in to go back to the dealers today but ofcourse tried multiple times yesterday and the system worked flawlessly....
Have told the dealer we will keep an eye on it and get back to them if it occurs again.

On another note, has anybody found that the angle the vehicle is sitting on affects the operation of QL??

Grand cherokee 2011 quadra lift problem after 9000 km, winter here in Canada, sometimes rear lifts to highest point and front to the lowest point (like a old school street racer) and vice versa... service at dealership this week, hope they can fix it... onboard computer says to SERVICE AIR LIFT SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY, this has happened 3 times in the last week.

Mine is back at the dealer today. They ordered a kit to refill the nitrogen back to factory specs. After they complete the refill they will give it the old soap & water test to check for leaks. They wanted to take this approach before replacing the compressor.

Just an update: Daily driver and still no quadralift problems after 6-1/2 years and now at 190,000 kms (about 119,000 miles). I had one leaking shock serviced under warranty in the first year or so.

3300 miles...just picked it up fromt he dealer for it's 3rd visit in 2.5 months of ownership. The vehicle goes to normal ride height, aero height, and parking height just fine. I think that may be all that they're testing. It will not go into OR1 or OR2. The button on the console just flashes...no indicator on the dash that the venicle is raising.

I'll go back by at 7:00am tomorrow and try to explain the problem again.

Took the Jeep out tonight after a heavy snow. I filled one tire with a little bit of air. Then I drove down the road and noticed that I was in Off Road one height position. The Jeep did this on it's own apparently. I had driven through some water (probably 8 inches deep max.) and there were places on the road with heavy wet snow. The temperature out was about 32 degrees F. Any ideas how this could have happened? I didn't push the button. Is there a potential problem with my air suspension. I had it parked in my garage since yesterday and didn't use park mode, just was parked in normal ride height. I normally use park mode.

Last Monday (2/6/2012) they decided I need a new compressor for the QL. The compressors are on backorder. Not sure how long it will take for the compressor to arrive...but at least I have the Grand Cherokee and it's driveable.

Subscribed. Im shopping for a used Overland and worry about the QL and am debating if I should just go with a Limited instead. I really don't want this to become a headache for my wife and this will be her DD.

What do you guys think... if you had to do it all over would you still pick the QL?
