With all the talk of Quadra-Lift problems on this and other forums, what kind of experience have you had with your QL system?

No problems but sometimes I notice it raises.. I mean I guess maybe its being hit by the passenger possible.. Its definitely random.. Im going to say passenger but not 100% sure.

+1 on your issue. I have no kids and i am the only one that drives it. Yesterday I thought I might have hit the button by accident and thought nothing of it. This morning I started it and noticed the suspension was raising. I looked at the button and OR1 was selected.... Hmmm. I had placed a cup of coffee in the forward-most holder. I don't see how I could have hit the button. Going for an oil change next week, I will mention it to them. In the mean time I will be looking for it again.

The only thing I notice is that if I have it all the way up and go over a speed bump with any speed at or above idle I get a thump out of the front end. Sounds like a ball joint, but I don't get that sound any other time. Anybody else notice anything like this?

Just read the car & driver review and they mentioned this too. Here is the quote from the article

Pumped up on its air springs to its full 10.6 inches of clearance, an Overland rarely drags its belly, though sharp impacts do occasionally crash the suspension against the bump stops with a jarring thud.

I started the same kind of poll a couple of months ago on another Jeep forum.

The results so far indicate about 10 - 18% of the people responding have had issues. 48 folks have had no issues, 3 have had warning lights but the QL system still works, and 6 have had actual problems that required a trip to the dealership. However there are about 3 - 5 people who've reported problems but haven't voted in the poll yet.

And that is not a very good percentage this early on. :(

In fact, its these issues that have caused me to delay my purchase until the 2012 models roll out. Hopefully, Jeep will learn how to make the JGC in general and the QL in particular more reliable.

At my dealership today for the fourth time trying to fix my QL. They seem to think it is the rear "sensors." Parts will take two weeks or longer.

While talking with my service advisor, the other advisor took a call from another Overland owner. His Jeep is stuck at ORII. At least my problem is intermittent.

As I've stated in another thread, I believe Chrysler is really trying hard on this problem, based on discussions with my service manager. Also, the dealership has been great...just frustating that it will take at least five visits to get mine fixed.

2800 miles here on my Summit... No real issues to report. I had a "system cooling" or something like that come on one time, but i had cycled the system a few times. The manual says this is normal. I have also noticed that the times between height adjustments vary. I assume this has to do with temperature and vehicle weight???

3500 miles, 2500 of which were towing a heavy trailer and the only issue was a "cool down" message when I was setting up the WDH and tried to use ORII to see if I could cheat and not use the trailer jack to make the torsion bar install easier. Note to self, don't try and jack up 700 lbs of tongue weight (more like an extra 1000 lbs at the axle) with the air bags ;)

Over the course of the 2500 mile trip the QL got a workout as the WDH transfers load to both axles and you could feel the QL making adjustments as loads and angles changed.

My only complaint, allow me to select the default mode and stop going back to Auto every time the vehicle restarts!

Just picked up my 2011 GC Overland today. Put 10 miles on the car and the QL blew out on the rear. Suspension was all the way down, tires cambered out. Had to have it towed to the dealer. Very embarrassing with the neighbors watching. Sure hope it gets fixed correctly. I am one bumbed out dude.
